This one came together really well. We built this elevated deck for a homeowner in Edina, and the material combo they chose is sharp - dark brown Timber Tech decking and fascia paired with classic black Westbury aluminum railing. It's a look that holds up over time and doesn't ask much from you in terms of maintenance.
The structure itself is a full elevated build, framed solid and set on concrete footings. The staircase runs straight down to the yard with matching Timber Tech treads, so the whole thing flows as one cohesive unit rather than feeling like pieces bolted together. Details like that matter more than people realize.
Timber Tech is one of our go-to composite decking lines for a reason. It resists fading, staining, and the kind of Minnesota freeze-thaw abuse that tears apart lower-grade materials. The Westbury railing system is just as solid - powder-coated aluminum that won't rust or need repainting. You get a deck that actually looks this good five or ten years from now.
Decks are genuinely our bread and butter. We've built and remodeled more decks than we can count, and we bring that experience into every single build - from how we size the framing to how we handle fascia wraps and post placement. Nothing is an afterthought.
If you've been thinking about adding a deck or replacing one that's seen better days, this is the kind of work we do every day. Edina and the surrounding Twin Cities area - we're out here building exterior spaces that homeowners actually use and enjoy for years to come.
