A hot tub is only as good as what it's sitting on. Set one down on uneven ground and you've got water sloshing to one side, stress on the shell, and a headache every time you climb in. Getting the base right from the start is the whole ballgame.
Here's what we were working with - a backyard that needed a solid, perfectly level concrete slab to support a hot tub. We handled the dirt work first, getting the grade right before a single drop of concrete was poured. That prep work is what makes the difference between a slab that stays flat and one that settles unevenly over time.
The finished slab came out clean with smooth control joints cut across the surface. We tied it into the existing deck with paver steps so there's a natural, clean transition from the deck down to the new patio level. Everything was checked for level throughout the pour - because with a hot tub, even a small variance is noticeable.
When a hot tub sits on a slab we've poured, the water line stays even wall to wall. That's not a small thing. It means the equipment runs the way it's supposed to, the cover fits right, and the whole setup just works. That kind of outcome starts with prep and precision, not just concrete.
Whether you're dropping in a hot tub, building out a backyard seating area, or just need a solid concrete patio, we do this work the right way from the ground up. Our patio and hardscape work is built to last and designed to fit how you actually use your outdoor space.
